It’s official—the Mayor has proclaimed April 1st, 2025, as Alamo City Guards Day! No, this isn’t an April Fools’ joke (we triple-checked). To celebrate this historic recognition, we’re gathering at Pinkerton’s Barbecue for an evening of great food, good company, and a whole lot of laughter.

Expect:

• Legendary brisket, ribs, and maybe a little friendly sauce-stain competition.
• Tales of heroism (some more exaggerated than others).
• That classic Post-BBQ Food Coma—a time-honored tradition.

Heads up: This is a casual, come-as-you-are gathering, so just bring your appetite and settle up with the fine folks at Pinkerton’s when you order.
