To be honest, this is not a great time to be a purist, since both the build and the rendering realm often cross borders that were believed to be impenetrable. And a recent effort of the sort comes from the pixel play we have here, which throws The Dukes of Hazzard and Back to the Future into the blender (the editing software, not the home appliance).
As we’ve recently discussed, the General Lee automotive star of the Dukes of Hazzard TV show comes in many forms, not all of which are actually 1969 Dodge Chargers.
So while we can talk about original cars featured on the show and the controversial “jump vehicles” some people insist on destroying these days, the one we have in this rendering is a completely different proposal, since we’re talking about a link to the DeLorean DMC-12 Doc Brown and Marty McFly hooned around in Back to the Future.
Interestingly, the two names that went into this rendering might share a connection, since the TV series ended in 1985, the same year that saw the motion picture hit movie theaters. Regardless, we can thank social media label dukesofhazzardyt for this shenanigan.
